Mission

Kave Homes' mission is to revolutionise the furniture, design and decoration sector by offering high quality products and perfect service. An essential part of this mission was to offer customers the possibility to customise furniture and visualise it in 3D. In addition, their aim was to build the configurators themselves and design them in their corporate identity (CI) interface.

Background

Kave Home, founded in 2013 as the flagship brand of the Julià Group, is a global provider of sustainable design furniture. To fulfil its vision, Kave Home was looking for a solution that would allow customers to customise furniture pieces and visualise them in their own environment using augmented reality (AR).

Challenge

To enable this innovative and personalised shopping experience, Kave Home needed a powerful and flexible configuration tool. The Rubens configurator was chosen as the ideal solution. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate the configurator into their platform, develop a user-friendly and brand-compliant interface and train the team accordingly. It was crucial that the configurator met Kave Home's high standards of design and quality.

Result

Kave Home wanted to start with configurators for their customisable sofas and create a configurator interface that matched their CI. They used the Rubens SDK (Software Development Kit) to create a unique, branded interface and a superior user experience.
As a result, Kave Home achieved both a consistent, attractive shopping experience and more effective sales advice, leading to a measurable increase in online sales.
Kave Home's highly skilled development team required minimal training on the configurator data setup. Four configurators for their sofas Blok, Martina, Sorells and Neom are now live, with more in the pipeline - including other furniture categories.
